Five steps from the doorstep to the verdict.
Set the scene
Mix the case’s signature cocktail or its alcohol-free twin from the drink pairing card. Scan the welcome card for a playlist from the era, dim the lights, and put your phones face down. Tonight, you two are the detectives.
Open the case file
A letter on top sets up the crime and tells you exactly what to find: who did it, how, and why. Underneath is everything the investigation turned up: police reports, a coroner’s findings, the local newspaper, receipts, private letters, and photographs from the night in question.
Work the evidence
Spread it all out. Check every statement against the photographs, every alibi against the receipts, and track who was where on the Detective’s Worksheet. Not everyone in the file is telling the truth, and the photographs see more than the people in them.
Make your accusation
When you both agree, fill in the Accusation card together: who did it, how it was done, and why, plus a bonus question for the sharp-eyed.
Reveal the answer
Scan the QR code in your case file to open the answer sheet: what really happened, the clues that proved it, and the ones built to lead you astray. Then argue about it over breakfast.
